Math: Introduce 3D shapes (Sphere). Color white (blanco) Counting and matching numbers according to the quantity. Addition & subtractions up to 5.Counting up to 50 in Spanish.  

Phonics: This week   review syllables:  “Ca- Co, Cu” and sound. Identifying upper case and lower case letters C,c. Name words that begin with the C,c in Spanish

 

Vocabulary of the week:  with C   la casa (The house), cama (the bed), cara (the face), conejo (the rabbit), cocina (the kitchen), cuna (cradle) cielo (the sky), cuchara (the spoon).

 Counting up to 50 in Spanish.  Continue represent addition with toys and manipulatives.    Counting up to 100 by ten. Number 10.  It is important to practice (e g, 7+3=10   5+5=10    4+6=10   9+1=10   8+2=10) Talk about which numbers are equal, greater that, lees than.

The school  will collect jars of peanut butter and jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, canned spaghetti sauce, oatmeal, cereal, and pop-tarts that will be used to provide food for the Backpack Buddies program at our school!
